Good day to all! It was another hot one on tap today, started out with 57Ferrets and rose to 87 before all was said and done. Too many busy Mumpers since I last posted to catch up with, so just know I am sending good vibes to all who want ‘em.
Yesterday was all paying work all the time, not that I get extra money when I work, but it does ensure that I get regularly paid for what I’m contractually obliged to do for my clients.
Today I sheveled early, before my conscious self could catch on to what I was up to and was out early running errands to keep everything here limping along running smoothly for another week. Had to pick up a prescription, grab a few fresh groceries, put gas in the little car, post something in the mail and get milk from the local dairy outlet.
Back home and the little dog got a good romp. The rest of the day was for bludging – too hot for anything else.
FCM, I hope you can get a handle on Otis’s behavior. I’ve trained every dog I’ve had to a crate, even if they’re outdoor models. It just makes life easier for them and for me. Ollie doesn’t mind his crate at all. He gets treats and a safe toy while he’s there, so it’s a safe space for him. Obviously you’d rather have Otis with you whenever you can, but it’s just not always possible. But if he’s already trained to it for overnight, he should be ok for a few hours when you can’t take him with you. Good luck.
JtC, here are some extra hugs to get you through the next little stretch of difficulty. I’ll be thinking of you and will be glad to hear when you’re back home and recovering. I know yer hubs will take the best care of you possible.
