Well, I, for one am glad you started this thread, D.E.S.K.Top668, because I was honestly just wondering where you got your username when I saw it in another thread.

As for me, mine is fairly boring.

Real name: Lynn
Nickname: Linny
Linny in that “Japanese” translator that used to be on stupid.com: Rinni
I prefer the look of lowercase r to capital R, so… rinni

Also, this came about so long ago that rinni has evolved into a real life nickname as well. When I think about myself, I mentally call myself rinni. I feel like that’s who I am.

I liked it though it’s been many years since I read it.
I borrowed my name from my cat. He didn’t mind.

I did my thesis work on hummingbirds in Panama. Colibri is Spanish for hummingbird.
