Its going to be a bad day when the Nurse keeps saying she needs her glasses....

A friend cut his arm while doing some (de)construction. It bled a lot…
So, off to the Urgent Care.
The nurse took one look at all the blood and opined that perhaps the emergency room would be better. But the doc came out and said, naw we can handle that-and the nurse can do the stitching up. OK, the nurse got to work all the while saying “I should go get my glasses” over and over.

Fun times!

That’s when you pull your arm away and say, yes you should go get your glasses. I’ll wait.

I have experienced just this kind of McHEATHCARE.

It is disgusting to see how many important positions are filled by people who should be saying “would you like Fry’s with that”?:smack:

While she’s in the middle of suturing your arm? That could be painful. But yeah, I’d still speak up.

As I understand it, she was doing a good job. Her comment was apparently a method of continuing to say: I really think you should go to the ER for this.
But since the Doc in the Box said suture him up, that is what she did.
makes for a good story though…it wasn’t my arm.

Right, tragedy is when I cut my arm. Comedy is when YOU cut your arm. (A la Mel Brooks)
