Princess Diana again? That would be nice.
I like Prince George - time to pull that regal old name out again.

Princess Leo? I hope not!
I’m going to go against the grain and say it’ll be a boy, and the whole debate over succession rights for girls will become irrelevant for another generation. Name: George.
Partypoop
There’s no debate. If it’s a girl, she’s in line to be queen even if she ends up with a younger brother. This *is *the 21st Century, y’know.
… and it will finally matter in about 90 years or so.
It will be a girl, Alexandra Diana Elizabeth Camilla
Okay, I have no idea about the current state of succession rules in the 21st century, but I should think it’s theoretically possible for a girl to be in line to be queen, behind her younger brother.
Not anymore, that’s the point. They changed the law recently.
The rules are in the process of changing, all the Commonwealth nations are in favor but not all have passed it through their Parliaments yet. Cameron says it’s a done deal.
Here’s a really amusing, and short, explanation of the rules of succession to the British monarchy. I saw it on youtube a few days ago.
That’s out of date: we no longer have male primogeniture.
Did you actually watch it or read the text? It stated that male primogeniture was no longer the case.
I did like the appearance of The Flying Spaghetti Monster in the video.
What I meant is, changing the rules of succession only makes a difference if the child is a girl. If it’s a boy, then he’ll be first in line in either case.
Very true. By the time the child actually becomes king or queen, most of us will have been in our graves for many years.
My hope for the Duchess, like my hope for all laboring mothers, is that her labor is quick and easy and so is her recovery.
Amen to that. I’ve witnessed my own children’s births and I wouldn’t wish a hard labor on anyone.

Hey, no cuts!

Leela: Look! It’s a baby queen!
…I’m taking this bee with us. With a queen we can build a hive and make more honey ourselves.
