It's my Birthday, and I'll pee if I want too, pee if I want too... *TMI*

For my 58th birthday I got my catheter removed!!!
Happy Birthday to me!
It was only in for a week, but seemed much longer. (no pun).

How is your day going?

Meanwhile, a few hours ago I was sitting in a meeting at work and really regretting all the coffee I had drunk beforehand.

Happy Birthday!

And I hope everything comes out OK!

Happy Birthday!

I bet urine for a better year than last year!

Happy birthday!

I have been a member of the catheter club. The pee bag wasn’t a chick magnet.

Congratulations.

I feel ya. I had to take diuretics for 2 weeks. I never peed so much in my life!! Toward the end I woulda took a catheter if offered.
Congrats.

Happy Birthday!

I spent a week in hospital needing an anti-biotic drip attached to a stand.
The nurses kindly added a catheter, so I wouldn’t have to keep struggling to get out of bed and walk to the toilet to pee whilst manoeuvring the drip and stand.

I know how you felt when the catheter was removed - it’s a great sensation!

Happy birthday foggy, and what more wonderful gift could you ask for.

I had a catheter once a couple of decades ago (although it was only in for a few hours). It was extremely painful going in, extremely painful coming out, and for many hours afterward I experienced extreme pain while peeing. I hope to god I never have to get catheterized ever again.

Congratulations and Happy Birthday!

Belated congratulations on your birthday and catheter removal!

I would have sent a card, but there appears to be a gap in the Hallmark inventory around these events…

That was my experience when in a naval hospital for surgery some decades ago. It was pretty neat to have the sensation of “gotta go” and then realizing “wow, I already went”
But it certainly wasn’t enjoyable trying to sleep at night with tubing installed.

Anyway, congrats OP on peeing freely on your own!

Thanks for the B’day wishes!

Wonder what I’ll get removed for my 59th B’day?:stuck_out_tongue:

I have felt your pain. There’s nothing like feeling a catheter to make you appreciate what a wonder it is to pee normally. Happy Birthday!

Foggy’s back!
