I keep thinking about this song from the mid 60s (why, I don’t know). It was by some male group, probably British. I don’t know many words, but here’s what I can remember (with some made up lyrics to fill in the blanks). I do think the gal’s name is Eleanor, though. Here goes:
*
Your love intoxicates me
And in the morn she wakes me.
I really love you, Eleanor, really.
(chorus)
Eleanor, gee, I think you’re swell,
And you must be doing well.
You’re my pride and joy, et cetera.
Eleanor, gee, it would be grand
To be playing in the sand.
And we would be feeling better. *
OK, I’ve made up a lot of the words, but whole dinosaur skeletons have been constructed with fewer original parts.
Any ideas???
