Interesting study by the French on bras. Study says that they actually are a cause of sagging boobs, not a preventer. Going braless lets the body develop proper musculature to support them.
Thank God for the French! Spread the word.
This seems unlikely. I’m sure most of us have seen pictures of third world women who don’t wear bras and “perky” is not the term that comes to mind.

I keep saying I’ll treat myself to one of those laser bra operations for my 40th birthday.
size and lifestyle would be a factor wouldn’t it? if you’re sedentary you might want to set them free, but if you’re swinging the girls about you will want support.
Not to mention the psychological discomfort. When I had an MRI, I had to remove my bra (metal clasps and underwire), and then return to the waiting room until it was my turn. I was very self-conscious the whole time, and I wasn’t even moving!
I don’t want to knock myself out when I run. I’ll stick with wearing a bra, thanks.

How was this measured? It seems more likely that the bottom of the boob sagged down more, so the nipple is relatively higher on the boob.
Or was it measured from the shoulders?
I think it might have been mean altitude above sea level.
Yay! I go without one 99% of the time already and I’m miserable when I’m forced into one. I think my breasts look just fine for a 43 year old woman, especially under clothes, but my oldest daughter acts like I’m shaming the family if I don’t wear one.
Boobs don’t have muscles.
