It's snowing.

It’s 72 here in Murfreesboro (no, the spelling is correct), & we are in fear. Tornado watches/warnings, & the best local weather radar is down for repairs.

Wish us luck.

…and it’s snowing again. I left my scarf at a restaurant tonight, dammit.

I miss snow.

 Did I just say that out loud?

World Ends. News at 11.

It’s snowing in Victoria too - just starting to stick here in James Bay, which means that areas further inland are probably snowed in already. Maybe I’ll get a snow day tomorrow, I could use a long weekend.

I don’t know if it made it to the mainland, but we had a cool little storm come through this morning. I was sitting in a meeting, and we were all looking out the window intermittently, watching these black clouds roll in from the west and the daylight, such as it was, vanish. Next came the torrential downpour - we’re talking soaked to the skin the instant you step outside type rain. Then the rain turned to snow for a bit, and finally the sun came out. The whole thing took maybe 15 minutes.

Egads, you’re right!

Tomorrow’s going to suck. I’m getting new French doors. Double-glazed ones to replace my single-glazed ones that have been on the house for who-knows-how-long. Replacing the front door, too. Gotta have that energy efficiency! But I’m going to have a 72" x 80" hole in my house for as long as it takes for the handyman to do the job. I may have to cocoon myself in a bedroom with a space heater.

I hope the handyman doesn’t slip in the snow and damage the doors. I mean, ‘I hope he doesn’t slip and hurt himself.’

You can just drive up the little hill to the north. There’s a fair bit of snow up there.

What was with that?

I went to sleep this afternoon (long story, long night) and woke up when my husband called at six-thirty or so. Popped outside, and huge big flakes were piling up in Langford. On the drive home from the hospital tonight, I drove through more heavy snow, but when I got back here, it was just rain.

We are not supposed to get snow in VICTORIA in MARCH. Tres weird.

It’s 67 degrees F right now; supposed to hit 82 today. If it snows, I’ll letcha know.

Wet and springy in Toronto. Yay!

Hey! Somebody switched Toronto and Victoria. It was snowing again this morning when I left for work. Tonight we had hail and an electrical storm. It’s just odd. Normally, we’re wearing shorts and counting flowers in the sunshine and being insufferable about it.

Johnny LA, where are you? I had assumed Oregon or Washington, but you’re in BC?

This is definitely weird weather. I missed tonight’s hail, but I saw some lightning, and decided I’d better get moving so I could get to my destination before the downpour that felt like it was coming on arrived. Luckily by the time I had to walk back home (~1/2 hour ago, I’m just trying to wind down a little before going to bed), the ground was wet but it had cleared up. Hopefully tomorrow and/or Sunday will be nice so I can spend some time outside.

Snowed about a foot on Wednesday. Then got another 4” to 6“ yesterday. It’s supposed to snow more this weekend. :looks out window: It’s snowing lightly now.

March is typically our snowiest month…… We still get it in April and May. October 10th was our first big snow this year. Got about 2 feet. Haven’t seen the ground in 6 months.

The snow is piled up around the drive way to about 5 feet. And it melted quite a bit in late Feb (which is unusual).

My wife had to make two runs in her Jeep yesterday to get up the drive. I’m trying to put off plowing again until Sunday.

I love it up here. I don’t even mind the long winters. I do hate that summer comes and goes in a wink of the eye. So much to do, so little time. It’s just so beautiful in the summer.

Birch Bay. Heh. It’s only half again as far to Vancouver as it is to Bellingham!

I have an aunt and an uncle who have a trailer in Birch Bay. I haven’t been there, but they use it as a weekend getaway, holiday, kind of a place. Say hi to Pam & Al if you see them!

Been outside today? It’s gorgeous, blue skies all around.

Thursday evening we got sleet at the top of the hill and rain at the bottom. Yesterday evening we got a couple of brief hailstorms–the hail was about an inch in diameter, but was more like tight-packed snowballs than solid ice.

I just wanted to make mention of the snow here in LA. The natives are griping about the cold (hah!) but there’s snow up in the San Gabriel and San Bernardino mountains, which are also wreathed in wispy clouds; it’s a picture, and it makes me with I’d brought my camera with me today. Maybe I’ll knock of a day at work next week (if I can get all my classified machines up and running) and go take a snow hike up to Echo Mountain.

No snow here, but my weather app in Firefox is saying the winds outside are 33 MPH.

But it’s freeeezing here! I don’t think it will even hit sixty today. It makes no difference what you say, my friend, this is cold weather.

Bring me back some pictures and some snow.

I think ours is the only neighborhood in Seattle that didn’t get a drop of snow. :frowning: I feel like a redheaded step-child.
