It's snowing.

Oooh you live in the Boro? Cool. I’ve been there/Nashville a number of times in the past few years - got into the music scene down there (the punkish/indie one) and travel to your neck of the woods for shows.

I woke up to sunny skies and mid 70s. Now it’s hailing (big marble size) and storming and I’m bored because I was supposed to go to baseball game with the boys. Blah. At least my car is in a parking garage.

Slackers, all of ya

Got about one and a half feet this week. From what it looks like, we will have another 8” by morning.

Had to pull my Wifes Jeep up the drive a couple of hours ago with my plow truck (she stuck it). Tow chains and straps are a part of life.

We will be able to get out in the morning . But I will have to plow so we can get home.

It’s a bit of a drag, but everyday life up here.

Frak! The snow level is predicted to drop to 1600’. I live at 2700’. It is coming down in big fluffy flakes, and I can hardly see across the driveway. I hate snow!

Mt Wilson looked great this morning (at least, when you could see it). I might take a half day on Monday and take a walk up to where the hotel used to be and maybe go for the top if it looks ok. I haven’t been hiking in the snow since I left Vermont. I hope it sticks around until then…

We finally got a couple inches here. My parrot was on the window screaming about it so I told her it was the fallout.

The other night we got snow in Santa Cruz, CA!!

Well, it wasn’t really snow, it was actually hail, but it hailed so much it covered the ground with whiteness, then melted into slush, so it was pretty indistinguishable from snow. Some of it even lasted until the next morning! Simply amazing.

The weather network is saying that it’s supposed to be 16 degrees and raining today in Toronto. Maybe thunderstorms too. Later in the week, though, it will be cooler, and below freezing on the weekend. It was mild and damp all weekend, with some sun, very good weather for walking. The grass is still dead, though, but at least it’s dead and mushy instead of dead and frozen.
