It's that great getting up morning: The new site is nearly ready for you.

Is it true that the moderators will be replaced by robots? They’re getting de-funded?

How do you de-fund free help?

OMG!!

You make THEM pay. Source of revenue, dontcha know.

Geez, thanks for the blast from my past. (I went to college in Normal, Illinois. That is pretty much the last time I was normal.)

I had lost track of when this is supposed to happen. I just went back and read the OP. It’s **TOMORROW!! **I’m scared. Quick, somebody get a very long rope and let’s loop it around all of our waists so no one gets lost. Hold hands, too! (Belt **and **suspenders principle.) What do we do then…? Just sit down by the side of the road and wait for d-o-o-m…

Why replace the mods with robots? They’re already slowly converting them to cyborgs. Tomndebb has been a brain in a jar mounted in an old TransAm chassis for years, and Colibri became a 150-pound mechanical hummingbird in 2013.

Thank you for this!

Now I’m listening to the Humming Song.

Seems I’m easily amused these days.

They really, really, really need you on board as a “tech mod” or something. You’d be such an amazing resource for the mods and the board in general.

But I was just getting used to those! :frowning:

Forgive me if this was mentioned before and I missed it (having trouble logging in), but on the new site, will the forums/threads be marked as read every time you leave even if you didn’t read an individual thread? It drives me bananas that the time limit is so short.

No, if you don’t read a thread (or dismiss it in the New or Unread lists), it’ll stay unread.

Second!

sings Tomorrow, tomorrow. I fear ya, tomorrow. You’re only a day awaaay.

I’m nervous.

I feel like we’re about to take a ride with Dorothy and Toto through the twister, only will our little house stay together?

One Day More!

I believe Discourse software tries to remember which post you last read in each thread.

My favorite musical! Listening to this makes me feel calmer.

A little tongue in cheek but its driving me nuts too.

The last time I listened to that was the night before the 2016 election, when I emailed out a link to my campaign team. I hope tomorrow goes better.
