I’m planning to hit the bookstore on Tuesday to buy Janet Evanovich’s latest Stephanie Plum novel as we leave for vacation on Friday.
Does anyone have any other recommendations for good beach reads? New or old, I’m open for all suggestions. Prefer something fun and light as my brain likes to take a vacation, too.
I just finished a page-turner of a time travel story – A Shortcut in Time by Charles Dickinson. It’s fairly new, so it should be in bookstores. The Widows’ Adventures (same author) is also very good. Two widowed sisters drive from Chicago to L.A. – the “hook” is that the one driving is blind, guided by her sister. It sounds silly but it worked, and there was a lot more to the book than the trip. Good stuff.
