The movie is Away From Her. The movie was directed by Sarah Polley. She also wrote the screenplay adapting it from work by Alice Munro, and was nominated for doing so.

Wow, I was just thinking how horribly slow, maudlin and unentertaining this song is and I refresh the thread and see nothing but love for it. To each their own.
