Oh, meant to mention – a caveat to Kyla et al who are considering taking the train…my last experience taking to Amtrak (to Spiffled in November) was a bit of a nightmare time-wise. A couple of hours late getting there, five or six hours late getting home. And we fared well compared to others. It is nifty taking the train, though, as long as your schedule is very, very flexible.
Only sort of. In Oct 2001, Silver Fire and chique suffered through my delusion that the Supremes could have really used my talents. I’ll still sing, though.

As has already been mentioned (though way back on the first page), some of us college folks will be having finals the following week. If there’s any possibility of moving it back a week (or two, whatever…), I think there’s a greater chance of some of us younger folks being there.
Yes, I know the main thing will be at a bar, but maybe they’d let younger ones in, and even if not, there’s plenty to do in Chicago other than drink.
