The train is good. I like the train. However, when you start weighing four people’s fares against the price of driving, it’s harder to justify. Sometimes Amtrak runs “companion ticket” fares, though.
I believe graduation will be the week before that (yes, I will have waited 10 months to walk across the stage). I might very well be in the mood to party.

Also, if I recall correctly, Gundy didn’t do a lot of hiding in the corner last time. If anything, being pinned in like that meant she couldn’t get away from the masculine drool directed her way.

As it happens, I had already put in to take the week of April 28-May 2 off from work. And I’d even been thinking about taking a trip up to Chicago sometime next year (i.e., 2003); I haven’t been to Chicago in years.
