The cool thing about Wrigley is that you can get a decent look at the park without even going in. Hop on the L, take the red line north, get off at the Addison stop. Look west. Presto, a view from the L platform right inside the ballpark.

The 9th to 12th works for me and it is a quiet weekend at the hotel, so rooms are not a problem. So here’s at least one more vote for the 9 - 12 weekend. Any other thoughts? I want to be pretty sure on dates before I block rooms.

I think I’m in. (As long as the rest of the Columbus people are still in.) As far as I can tell, the weekend of May 9-12 doesn’t collide with my finals.
I’m interested in cheap hotel rooms, as last year’s deal was GREAT! (Thanks again, Jane! - And hell yes, I’ll buy you a drink. :))
FWIW, Eonwe, I stayed in one of the hotels Jane D’oh! is talking about last year, and the train rides and whatnot weren’t bad at all.
