Wonderful anniversary this year - the 27th of May will mark the 3rd year since I moved to England. 3 wonderful years with Kal.

Actually, my mom’s birthday is on the 14[sup]th[/sup]… so some years, her birthday and Mother’s Day coincide. Not this year, though! (Mother’s Day is on the 11[sup]th[/sup])

Also, my parents’ anniversary is on the 24[sup]th[/sup].

So go ahead, wish them a happy birthday / anniversary… or not. I happen not to care that much. :stuck_out_tongue:

MayDay Baby coming through!!
I have reached the ripe old age of 23 now. sigh This years bday is shaping up pretty well - My MIL paid for my lunch yesterday, my FIL is making my requested dinner for the family tonight, my mom and her husband are over for dinner tomorrow (she’s cooking), and we’re going out on Saturday!! So, it’s really more like four days of feasting in Honor of My Birth (took 'em long enough to get it right!!)

Heh… I do this too, I will routinely be very surprised when somebody comes up to me on my birthday and says something like “Happy birthday!” It usually gets an extremely startled look from me, after which I check the date on my computer… do a few calculations in my head, and then say something like “Oh! Thanks!”.

I also have a tendency to forget minor holidays… Christmas and Easter, for example. It leads to me being VERY irritated if I run out to the store or something and find them all closed.

Sounds good. Having a “border” birthday is neat because I can harp about it in the May birthdays thread without feeling overly guilty. Of course, it’d still bring a smile to my face to see a new birthday thread in June with my name in it. (hey, I’m petty like that) :slight_smile:
