It's time to officially Pit Joe Paterno and the Penn State football program.

Why stop there? Why not…

To hell with Pennsylvania for harboring and nurturing Penn State and its fans.
To hell with the U.S. for keeping Pennsylvania safe and protected within its borders.
To hell with the Western Hemisphere because it contains the United States.
To hell, in fact, with the whole damn world because McQueary thought he saw a rape.

Gotta say this thread has been a revelation. Who knew there were so many hysterical lunatics out there?

(Answer: Nancy Grace!) Gotta give the woman props. She has recognized and been able to exploit the much larger percentage of hysterical, scattershot, vengeance-prone idiots in our population than I would ever have imagined exists.

Perhaps you could regale us with the list of charges against Paterno which the investigation uncovered and led to his firing?

See? It’s writing posts like the one above that have prevented him from having enough time to present an argument of any substance. Give the man some breathing space!

ETA: Well, the one above that. Clearly my posts are of integral importance to this thread.

I’ve already offered arguments of substance. Surely you noticed the resulting hysteria.

For a guy who has promised a total refutation of Huerta but is struggling along with a limited instrument for typewritten communication, you sure have put up an enormous wall of bullshit avoidance text. Asshole. Liar. Pedophile. But you do still have some entertainment value. Dance, dipshit, dance!!

For you – I can.

How’s this: “Real Men (the kind who existed in the perfect 1950s, when adults would not even listen to and would not believe it was possible that a child had been reportedly raped, because no one bled to death, so rapists of children also operated with impunity, which was also perfect) don’t do anything less than their maximal efforts to pursue and prevent rapists, and they also don’t invent cowardly insulting lies to cover up for rapists and their enablers?”

I think that conveys the point quite well too.

There’s only one, and that’s more than is required to fire a coach at any college:

Failure to exercise adequate oversight of persons interacting with children and failure to vigorously pursue and confirm the proper investigation of reported serious sexual improprieties relating to such interaction.

Yep, guilty as charged (as though private institutions had to hold full-blown trials or something – the only full-blown trials that take place around PSU are the ones Sandusky subjects little boys to).

You offer nothing of substance.

ETA: Except for the fact that that in all circumstances you seem feel that the absolute bare minimum is an acceptable goal to attain.

I noticed a lingering stench; is that close enough?

Did Nancy Grace run over your dog or something Starving Artist? You seem a wee obsessed.

Scummy, lying, and corrupt, for the most part?

Yes, you are as well as much of the criminal defense bar.

That’s not entirely true. He hasn’t yet sunk to the depths of Cesario (but not for lack of trying).

Well…Cesario went away.

You guys had him whacked?!

(emphasis added)

What the hell happened to you? I defended you in the past on more than one occasion when ignorant dumbasses on here accused you of being a Nazi, and now you’re using “woman” as an insult? And a pretty nasty one at that.

You’ve either let Starving Artist live inside your head too much, or…fuck, something else, I don’t know. Not cool.

Nothing at all has happened to him. He’s still the same homophobic, sexist, probably racist, and deeply, profoundly dishonest dillweed he’s always been. Were Starving Artist actually living in his head he’d be absent all these qualities. Od course if you could even begin to demonstrate otherwise, I’m sure Starving Artist would welcome you to do so.

I’m a woman and was not offended by Huerta’s comments at all. I could be way off, but my take was that he was mocking SA and using SA’s obvious biases to fuck with him.
Kind of like Stephen Colberts bit on that senator whose name escapes me right now (the homophobic conservative with the “wide stance”) or when Howard Stern accused David Duke of wearing a pink sheet with high heels underneath. That was my read on it anyway…

Then perhaps you could be so kind as to illucidate or cite some of SA’s “obvious biases”?

It would probably be fair to say you have a bias in favor of Paterno, wouldn’t you agree?

We, as amateurs, bow to your professionalism.

You’ve already done a more than thorough job of this. Thank you.
