It's time to officially Pit Joe Paterno and the Penn State football program.

I for one am glad this thread was started, instead of risking the hijack of a related, incredibly bloated Pit thread and maybe hurting someone’s feelings.

I’ll take an order of D, with a side of sautéed D, sprinkle on some D sauce and finish off my D feast with a D lime pie. My thirst can be quenched with a triple shot D cocktail.

B or D.

I can’t remember if I participated or not, but I was reading it when it was still somewhere between 1 and 100 pages, then stopped, as it got unbearably ludicrous.

B or D. I was tempted to go looking for some old man midget porn just to prove him wrong but he is just not worth it. The arguments were completely moronic, it was unreal.

D. Didn’t even read the thread until it got to something like 53 pages, and thought ‘this is still going on? What’s left to discuss?’ and, well. Holy crap.

Duh Duh Duh…D

Was hoping to see the misinformation campaign break the 100-page barrier before the real story got underway, but, alas, the real story finally begins right here, right now, today.

Chaos as Rep Calls for Investigation into Corbett for Sandusky investigation; Republicans Turn off Lights and Flee

About an hour ago, all hell broke loose on the Pennsylvania House floor when Rep. Tim Briggs (D-Montgomery County) called for a discharge resolution on HR 520–a resolution that calls for an investigation into Gov. Corbett’s investigation of Jerry Sandusky.

Since the Penn State scandal broke last November, Corbett, who oversaw the investigation as Pennsylvania Attorney General, has consistently faced criticism that he slow-walked and otherwise mishandled the investigation.

“There are valid, still unanswered questions about the way in which then-Attorney General Tom Corbett conducted the investigation that led to the conviction of child rapist Jerry Sandusky,” Briggs said. “I called up this discharge petition to force action on the issue because Governor Corbett continues to use recrimination of his own to dodge and disparage those who question why it took three years to bring charges against a man he and his investigators knew in the early stages to be a child predator.”

It’s well-known that Corbett doesn’t like to answer questions about his decisions regarding Sandusky and Penn State.

According to a recent article in the Centre Daily Times… (cont)

Wonder how many people here will be able to say they wound up on the right side of history?

Very few people have the foresight to know the correct answer is actually “A.”

Everyone stay tuned, as the real story is just now getting underway today.

NoLittlePlans! Where ya been? I figured you were out peddling around the lake or something.

Well that was…cryptic.

“B”, and I encourage everyone to use the ignore feature as I have. Much better now.

Do I HAVE to read a 97 page thread or can you summarize it for us?

Is Starving Artist making a case for child molestation or something?

No. Just hugging naked little boys in the shower in a deserted locker room in the middle of the night without their parents’ knowledge. What could possibly be immoral about that?

Probably everyone who’s read the article and wondered how it even remotely vindicates Paterno. If anything, it merely indicates that others also failed to deal with the allegations against Sandusky appropriately.

You should get your socks cleaned.

Yeah I read it 3 times. I don’t understand what NoLittlePlanSA is reading. Its not exactly an unbiased blog but it seems that the democrats in the PA legislature are trying to hold the republican attorney general to the fire for not doing enough against Sanducky and moving too slowly.

Ok I read your linked article in the other thread. It seems that the democrats in the PA house are trying to hang the Attorney General for moving too slow against Sandusky and Penn State. So how does that prove it was impossible for rape to have happened?

Put me down for a B. My participation was fairly minimal, and I certainly haven’t read ALL 97 pages of the thread, but I think I’ve read most of Sandusky Apologist’s contributions.

FWIW I don’t think he’s a creepy pedophile. He’s just another idiot who cannot back down. I’ve been there myself. But not over a kiddy fiddler, and not for 97 pages. And not because it’s crucial to my world-view and self esteem to divide the entire universe into a blue camp and a red camp, plant my flag in the red camp, and insist that whenever people disagree with me it’s because they’re blue people, who are blue because they are either evil or stupid.

B. Fuck.
There was even a poster in that thread who graphically described being the victim of what Starving Artist alleges is physically impossible. SA’s response was that there “were substantial enough physical differences between the Sandusky case to mean that your experience isn’t comparable”. Oh, and sorry you got raped as a child.

Put me down for a B, also. I’ve pretty much the same position as Nancarrow, I think.
