Well, you’ve met someone who won’t let you lie but also won’t flatter you by showing anger about it. I can see why that would be frustrating for you.

This has been his pattern, cold unemotional logic will cause him to retreat or not engage, calling him names will almost always get a response. I’ve been trying to figure it out, but I’m still not sure what personality reacts that way.

Paterno has not remotely been shown to have known Sandusky was raping children, nor that he knowingly covered it up and allowed it to continue for the next ten years. Same with Penn State itself.

And Mike McQueary’s testimony has proven inadequate to support a conclusion of rape by a jury of his peers.

These are facts. They are incontrovertible and unassailable.

Well, he still has that NoLittlePlans person. Strangely, I don’t recall either of them directly speaking to the other, despite their agreement. It’s almost as if they would view such an exchange as redundant.

Two words: PROXY SERVER. Remember when SA refused to deny that he was the poster on Penn Live who was also obsessed with pedophilia and defending Jerry Sandusky? Gotta admit, it gave me a whole new respect for F/P.

F-P was on the money in most of his posts to the thread but he wasn’t an ally and often took pains to make that clear. I let him have his opinion and didn’t try to persuade him in the areas where we differed, but when it became clear even he had fallen victim to the high noise ratio in the thread and had suffered a misapprehension as to something I’d said, I stepped in to correct him. He hasn’t been seen since so perhaps he fancied himself more of an ally than I thought and took offense. I regarded him more as a fellow traveler myself.
