Don’t blame me. I tried to get the message across by more subtle means, but the thread was absolutely full to the brim with dainty squicked out idiots who refused to even begin to consider such apparent inconsistencies as differences in height, difficulty of performance in the described position, etc. No, their position was that the crime was just too offensive to look at closely and that assumption was the only proper course of action. So in order to get these idiotic lamebrains to face the facts I had to come up with the paper towel tube experiment…an experiment, btw, which marked a turning point in the thread where people at least began to shift away from the rape scenario and began to cast about furiously for other ways to make it all Joe Paterno’s fault, which they’re still trying and failing to do to this day.
You know that victim has come forward to confirm the shower story right? You know there are also like ten other victims saying the same thing, including his own adopted son. You must be the only person in the world who believes Sandusky’s conspiracy story. Even Sandusky himself doesn’t believe it.
I know that now that the trial is over and the opportunity for testimony against his alleged abuser (and forcross examination) has passed, someone claiming to be victim #2 has come forward.
The other crimes stand on their own evidentiary merit. Obviously the Sandusky jury agreed with me that McQueary’s testimony on it’s own was not persuasive evidence of rape.
The Grand jury and prosecutors thought that the rape was possible and even likely enough to indict. No one earth agrees with you that rape was impossible, at least no one that has spoken up.
Sometimes it’s unlawful contact with minors, endangering child welfare and and corruption of minors though. The same jury which dispassionately came to the conclusion that it was physically impossible for Sandusky to have raped Victim 2 came to those conclusions about Victim 6 in the 1998 incident.
If you wanted to defend conservatism though, you’d be right up Louis Freeh’s arse. I just watched the film Breach and realised the same guy who came to the conclusion that Paterno was aware of the 1998 accusations found the most prolific spy for the Soviet Union in the US.
How long did you perform copulatory movements in this position and how many inches off the ground was the midget’s anus? Were your knees locked, slightly bent, or were you crouching? Please provide detailed information, so SA can apply the scientific method and attempt to reproduce these results with a ten year old boy. For science of course.

You will continue to fight. You didn’t lose to proven facts, evidence, accurate locations, and times. Anything can be said. You lost to speculation and stories that were influenced by people who wanted to convict you. You must fight unfairness, inconsistency, and dishonesty. People need to be portrayed for who they really are. 
Starving Artist won’t answer me any more (bwock-bwock-bwock), but I note that the word “rape” keeps recurring in his posts - a blatant attempt to deceive through specificity. Sandusky wasn’t specifically convicted of the rape of victim #2, and as long as Starving Artist refuses to recognize the lesser crimes he was convicted of, he can pretend Sandusky (and by extension, Paterno) was innocent.
I still haven’t figure out how SA knows the exact height of Victim 2’s anus.
You seem to be the only one in the world who is trying to deny he is who he says he is. Of course this case isn’t getting too much media scrutiny so probably no one bothered to look into it. And its just coincidence that he happens to have tapes in which Sandusky is professing his love for him as a child.

Absolutely meaningless. The Grand Jury’s place is merely to see whether some minimal standard of evidence exists to suggest that a crime has been committed. It’s up to the trial jury to drill down and make the final determination as to whether the alleged crime has in fact been committed. Again, like Loach you seem unable to make the distinction between the funtion of these two disparate juries.
This also is meaningless. The governing point is that I found McQueary’s description of what he saw to be inconsistent with what I would have expected to be the case in the even of actual rape (the differences in their height, Sandusky’s age, he was “standing,” the boy’s expression evinced no distress or discomfort, the unlikelihood he would choose that time and place to engage in sexual activity in such an uncomfortable position, etc. It all just didn’t add up. And for whatever reason the jury agreed with me.
So I win…and you don’t.
And sometimes that determination isn’t made until ten or more years after the fact, and upon taking into consideration a multitude of other sexual crimes against children. I’ve said before that I think it unlikely that charges would even be brought against someone else with no record who’d been the subject of identical charges from McQueary.

Every single thing you people were so certain of at the beginning of the thread involving Joe Paterno and Penn State’s complicitness in Jerry Sandusky’s raping of children has been thoroughly refuted. None of it held water. None. You were and are crackpots and reactionaries, utterly uninterested in facts and the truth and seeking instead the emotional and unthinking gratifications of the lynch mob, and as such you are a greater threat to due process, justice, freedom and humanity itself than any number of Jerry Sanduskys.

Meh. Who’s looking into it? We’ve got his lawyer’s statement and that’s it. Maybe tapes exist and maybe they don’t. And even if they do, what does that prove? There could be dozens of kids with tapes of Sandusky professing his love. That doesn’t make him the kid in the shower, and it doesn’t mean he’s telling the truth if he is. One would think that if were the legitimate kid in the shower he’d have wanted to come forth during the trial to confront his tormenter and do his part in making sure Sandusky got put away for a long time, rather than coming forward after the fact when he couldn’t be cross-examined for facts and truthfulness and when there seemed to be little motive but to get in on the mountain of cash soon to be flowing from Penn State as it continues to immolate itself over this situation for which it was so eager to accept responsiblity. Had it only waited for the evidence to come out, it would have learned it was totally absolved of accusations that its highly lauded (and deservedly so) football coach and administrative personnel knowingly and intentionally colluded to cover up and permit the ongoing serial raping of children on the Penn State campus by Jerry Sandusky. But, this is what happens when people cave to political correctness (or at least to what they perceive as political correctness, as political correctness often so defies logic that guesswork becomes necessary to try to conform) rather than what common sense would tell them is the proper course of action.
