It's time to officially Pit Joe Paterno and the Penn State football program.

You should tell that to those loons at Penn State who removed his statue from their campus, and the loons at Nike who removed his name from their Child Development Center, and all those loony kids who will be suing his estate.

But you know what would be better? See if Penn State will give you that worthless statue and you can create a shrine to JoePa and worship him as your hero for allowing children to be raped. And my apologies to your nursing home staff if that thought caused you to ejaculate into your Depends.

You’re cute.

What your cite said was:

Nothing about being dead, sorry.

[Nothing to add on JP vs. GS.]

The statue’s finger pointing up to say “We’re Number One!” would make a fine paper towel holder.

Well, well, well…

Uh huh. Right. That piece of shit Sandusky needs to shut up and just die.

Welcome back, NoLittlePlans. I’m really looking forward to your explanation from post 5558 - how about it?

Heck, my invitation for him to name Starving Artist’s three more reasonable points is still open.

More reasonable than what?

Well, now that you mention it, I hadn’t set a particular threshold. I wanted to know which of Starving Artist’s points were most reasonable to NoLittlePlans, since NLP said more than once (without elaborating) that Starving Artist had indeed made some reasonable points.

Admittedly, this was more a test of NoLittlePlans than of Starving Artist, as the latter is quite obviously a lost cause.

Are you saying that Joe Paterno isn’t dead?

Actually all of Starving Artist’s points have been reasonable. Especially the ones about no evidence that Paterno, et al. knew of and were covering up for Sandusky’s raping of children, or that they knowingly allowed it to continue for ten years.

And about there being no evidence that either Paterno or Penn State’s administration tried to cover for Sandusky out of concern for Penn State’s football program, alumni donations, or general reputation.

And the one about how what McQueary described wasn’t consistent with what one would have expected in the case of actual anal rape.

And about how all of the accusations leveled toward Joe Paterno and Penn State’s administration since the beginning of the thread have been based on nothing but supposition and guesswork, all of which are totally lacking in evidence.

Also the recent points about how it turns out that Paterno did not in fact break the law or deviate from his mandatory reporter responsibilities by reporting McQueary’s allegations as he did, and that in fact and according to the law he had no mandatory reporter responsibilities in the matter at all.

And on and on it goes even unto the paper towel tube experiment, whose purpose was served by forcing the thread’s hysterical lunatic crackpots to consider the mechanics involved in committing anal rape under the circumstances and involving the people described in McQueary’s description.

And on and on and on it has gone, with SA winning every point and you guys holding an empty bag. Every. single. time.

You are not “winning” anything. You are making people hate you. Possibly even aggravating health problems in those susceptible to high blood pressure. Surely you can see that?

Unless you’re NoLittlePlans, the invitation wasn’t directed to you.

And every time you’re careful to reference “rape” or “raping”, as though rape was the only crime that mattered, you reinforce your own lack of credibility.

Then those people need to stop clinging to the conclusions they unthinkingly jumped to when they heard about McQueary’s testimony and instantly decided that Joe Paterno and all of Penn State’s administration knew all about it and let it continue unabated for ten years to suit their own selfish purposes.

Surely you don’t expect me to give up the fight for truth, justice and the American way out of consideration for the feelings of a bunch hotheaded assholes who were quick to call me a pedophile merely for suggesting early in the thread that they wait until the evidence was out before condemning Paterno for crimes they had no way of knowing at that time he committed.

I also got called a throwback to the old days where child sex abuse got covered up and not spoken about and I was accused of favoring that approach due to my mere suggestion that evidence would be a good idea before condemning Paterno, et al.

And I got called a pedo enabler and the safety of my own and my family’s children was questioned because of my insistence on the facts rather than acquiescence to the lynch mob.

And the fact is, Holmes/homes/homie don’t play dat!

So let 'em blow a gasket! See if I care. The world would be better off without the sort of people who are perfectly happy to jump to conclusions and destroy people with no evidence whatsoever. Paterno and the rest of those guys would have been lynched by now if most of these people had had their way. They’re a greater threat to society and justice and basic human safety than a hundred Jerry Sanduskys, and I’m not about to back off because they find the facts just too damn frustrating to deal with.

According to me, I am winning!! I don’t need to defend my assertions, I already said it in this thread, even if I didn’t! I have people skills; I am good at dealing with people. Can’t you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?

Rape and the horrors associated with it were what people in this thread were so eager to claim Joe Paterno knew about and covered up. The intent was to show how mean, evil and cold-hearted he was in his determination to put his football program ahead of the pain and suffering endured by the countless children Jerry Sandusky raped over ensuing next ten years.

People fought me tooth and nail for most of the thread trying to insist that anal rape was what McQueary saw that night.

I’ve said before and I’ll say again that had people been claiming that Sandusky had been committing some sort of sexual misbehavior with the boy, I probably wouldn’t have objected.

But that wouldn’t do where people of your ilk were concerned. No, you had to try to make it as bad as possible in order to try to make Paterno look as bad as possible.

So, you’re hoist on your own petard, chum.

Yeah, that gives you a convenient excuse to not deal with people who are not claiming this, and thus you are losing (to me, anyway) by default.

Well, if inconsequential discussions on message boards can be discussed in terms of winning and losing, that is.

Sandusky’s Unidentified Shower Victim: Not Unidentified, Initially Denied Shower Abuse

Since Jerry Sandusky was first charged as a serial child molester last November, the prosecution has claimed that the identity of two of his victims was unknown. That claim was even repeated by prosecutor Joseph McGettigan during last week’s sentencing hearing. But according to Sara Ganim of the Patriot-News of Harrisburg (Pa.), Victim 2’s identity has been known since before just after Sandusky’s arrest.

Victim 2 has been a key figure in the Sandusky case—the unidentified boy former Penn State assistant coach Mike McQueary said he had seen Sandusky touching in a PSU football building shower back in 2001. As a result of McQueary’s testimony, the grand jury presentment accused Sandusky of raping the boy, Joe Paterno was fired, two Penn State administrators (Tim Curley and Gary Schultz) were charged with perjury and failure to report abuse, and former FBI director Louis Freeh’s private investigation accused several top Penn State officials (including Paterno) of orchestrating a cover up.

Sandusky’s attorney, Lawyerin’ Joe Amendola, said a few weeks after the arrest that the defense knew Victim 2’s identity, and that his story wouldn’t match McQueary’s. At the time, Amendola’s comments drew a sharp rebuke from Victim 2’s lawyer, and nothing more was heard about who Victim 2 was until late July, when a man came forward claiming to be the victim.

According to a statement Victim 2 had given investigators before Sandusky was arrested, Victim 2 indeed said that he had not been abused by Sandusky on the night McQueary saw the two of them together. A source has confirmed to me that such a statement in fact exists. http://deadsp.in/QSKBf8

So… you think McQueary lied, then?

I have follow-up questions, depending on how you respond to this one, if you do.

Thinking he was doing the right thing, MM was strongly encouraged to embellish his eyewitness testimony to get a pedophile off the streets, IMO.
