Anyone know any good organizational software for videos, something like itunes, that would let me do easy searches on metadata? it wouldn’t even have to play the videos.
Well, you’d have to enter all of the information manually (as opposed to having the software search for you), but Collectorz.com’s Music Collector or Movie Collector might work for you. They also have a Photo Collector, for digital photos, but I don’t know if it will work for video. Free trials are available, but the full versions are $40/each. I’ve used their Book Collector software, and liked the amount of metadata I could enter – I only stopped using it because I got too lazy to keep up with it. <grin>
Assuming the videos are on your computer, iTunes can organize those just as well as music.
