There is an email going around that says a band called Drowning Bear has a song that picked up a ghost’s voice while they were recording in an old house in Texas. The song is called Blue Cool and the email says that you can hear the ghost at the 1:19 mark of the song.
So it’s really a ghost and not a promotional stunt to get gullible people to download the song?
This kind of stupid shit has been going on forever.
That song “Rollercoaster of Love” from the late 1970’s supposedly had the sound of a woman being knifed to death on it. I was just a youngster then but even at that age I wasn’t gullible and stupid enough to believe it.
Do the royalties go to the estate?
Can’t say for sure that it’s true. This is just the info the email gave me. I did download the song, and do hear something at that point in the song though. It’s a good song either way, so I don’t feel cheated.
Note to self: if I’m ever in a band, make sure our album has “the sound of a ghost” on it. It apparently gets people talking.
Are you multiposting this message elsewhere? Perhaps as a promotional stunt?
Just because you heard something doesn’t make it a ghost. It all sounds to me like a marketing stunt for the severely retarded.
Sadly, the marketing ploy probably worked. I’m sure a few people checked out the band due to that post. Sigh.
Man…if you play Stairway to Heaven backwards you can hear Satan!
