I've all but quit wearing bras

Is it this one? I wear these almost exclusively now. Really comfortable, not hot, and the racer-back means you don’t get straps slipping down. I guess it wouldn’t work for someone of “generous” endowment but for B-cups and below, I think it’s perfect…

I do like them, but maybe I’m shopping at the wrong places because I can’t find any that fit me. I either can’t get them on, they are cutting off circulation or I’m spilling out and I’m trying on the largest sizes these stores have. Maybe I’ll check the Gap (I never shop there but for a comfy bra I’m willing to try anywhere) but you’d think the sports clothing stores would actually have sports bras that would fit.

Hello! I’m not built like my cousin who can shop in the little boys section! I’m just a bit more curvy TYVM

Hey, so have I! But I still like the Mary Janes and white knee socks. Is that OK?

The most absolutely erotic moment during sex for me is when my partner unhooks her bra and it falls loose…

I should go now. Viva it sounds like you need to get a custom-fitted bra or at least go with the sports models.

That’s what I’ve been wearing quite frequently.

Lissa, thank you for that suggestion. That looks like it might actually work for me. I’ll give it a shot.

RE: sagging…Well, much sagging is caused by not exercising the muscles that hold up the breasts, so I think continued workouts will help with that. Hasn’t been a problem yet.

Reminds me of the scene in Animal House when Tom Hulce can’t get the gal’s bra unhooked…

Chastain: I doin’ just fine and feelin’ more at liberty these days.

NCB, if you don’t settle down and get back in the Trek threads, I’m gonna mail you one of my bras.

Never mind. Probably not a good idea.

But then you’ll be depriving yourself of an opportunity to silently giggle as your man tries and fails to unhook your bra clasp!

(I say man because I assume, perhaps wrongly, that any competent lesbian will be able to unhook a clasp without trouble. )

Damn! What makes him so special?

Most comfortable bra ever.

I hate the feeling of being braless. Of course, they sag halfway to my navel when I’m not wearing one, so I get some nasty ‘rubbing’.

Are there any good sports bras that are for larger busted women? I’m a 42DD or E.

Also, anyone want to pay for a breast reduction?

[Sage, big sisterly advice]

  1. Are you sure you’re a B-cup? I mean, really sure? Have you had yourself measured professionally? If not, go and get yourself measured. Both La Senza and Marks and Spencers will measure you for free, and you don’t even need to buy a bra from them.

  2. Some styles of bra just look hideous on some people. I mean it. Some bras make me look like the wierd deformed quadruple breasted woman from hell. And its not because they’re the wrong size (36DD BTW, which is another hassle unto itself. Not even Ann Summers carry bras in all ranges in that size  ). Nope, quite frankly, some bras just don’t suit some women or the style of clothing they’re wearing at that particular time.

So, I don’t think your mum was being mean, she was just glancing a critical feminine eye over your chest area, and well, telling you that the bra you were wearing didn’t suit you. Mothers are like that.

I say quit!!! Bras are evil, uncomfortable contraptions that I think we are only supposed to wear so that people can’t tell we actually have NIPPLES.

I promise I will stare. Wait, no, which side are we endorsing?

OK, I confess, I will look when I can get away with it…

Most likely not…he said “Success”, for those who don’t speak Klingon…

After checking your cites, I must agree. It doesn’t seem to be much of a problem.

Sorry for the double post here but when’re you moving to Oregon again?

No, that’s not it. I looked around for the one I was talking about and didn’t see it. They must not carry it any more. The closest I found was this which looks very similar.

Flutterby, you might want to try something like this. (The model they chose sure as hell doesn’t look like a DD to me, though.) It’s a bit pricy, but at least you know they’re out there.

I prefer cotton, but I have bought some in nylon or spandex. I have one bra made of ultra-soft elastic material-- not really a sports bra, because it has cups. It’s amazing. I could swear I bought it at WalMart, but I can’t seem to find it on their website. It’s something like this.

You don’t have to be uncomfortable, sisters! Burn those horrible wire torture chambers and go forth in search of the comfy bra! They’re out there, and they’re worth every penny.

I agree, she doesn’t look like a DD to me either.

It looks nice, and I’d love it I bet… except I have to search out some from a store that is actually in Canada  No Victoria Secret’s up here… and when I think in Canadian dollars, that is expensive. Last time I was bra shopping I got so pissed off because the stores I went to didn’t have my size, or came so close but stopped one size below mine. The stores that actually carried my size cost twice as much for just a couple cm’s more of material.

I definately will try the gap though, looking at the sizing on the website the largest ones might actually fit me, but I’ll have to try them on.

man I wish i could wear that bra. it looks so comfie. sadly, being a d-cup girl, anything like that makes me look like i have a uni-boob
