Fellow dog owners/veterinarians/dog shrinks…
My dog sleeps in a wicker basket beside our bed. Sometime just before dawn, he gets out and crawls under the bed where the quilt hangs over the side, as if he is hiding from the imminent daylight.
Is he smarter than I give him credit for? I don’t think he is searching for a warmer spot as he is just a few feet from a furnace vent and the house has a constant temperature through the night. Also, if he was trying to hide from the light, why wouldn’t it bother him when he dozes during the day? (Something he is really good at)
