I've got an unopened bottle of New Coke. Think it's worth anything?

I meant to post this yesterday but I forgot.

I was cleaning out an old storage shed at my parents house when I found it in a box full of junk.

So, can I tell my boss to F off yet or not?

Looking through completed eBay transactions, it looks like $20-$30 is what people have been willing to pay for it.

I did a quick ebay search …the results are not encouraging sorry.

Check it out

Mind you - some people may be willing to pay a higher price just so that they can destroy the abomination

Slightly off-topic, but I had a friend who found a bottle of Ripple (popular cheapo wine for college students in the 60’s) she had hidden from her parents in the back of her closet. She invited friends over, they put on some old 60’s music and then ceremoniously unscrewed the cap (yep, it was fine-quality stuff) and poured it.
They just about threw up at the smell and nobody dared do anything but dump it in the sink as fast as possible.
Apparently cheap wine in screw cap bottles doesn’t age well in upright positions at the back of warm closets for 40 years. Whodathunk?

So, back to your New Coke…save it. Nice decoration for the mantel, and who knows, maybe in 40 years you can sell it for big bucks to some crazy people who will think they can open it and…hmm, now that I think about that, it might actually make it taste better in 40 years than when it was really “new New Coke”.
