I’m getting to the point where I don’t want the temperature to be higher than my age.
I’ve never lived in a place where either condition was met, in either Celsius or Farenheit. (Although it’s been awhile since Celsius was higher than my age…)
I am easy. I would just like to visit the two peaks.
I … stand corrected:
We did Athens and a Greek Islands cruise right after Covid and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Rome and the Western Mediterranean is next year.
The Mrs. and I came up with a bucket list of places to visit that will not exist in the next 25-50 years: Venice (due to flooding), Alaska (specifically the glaciers) and Okavango Delta (due to general climate change). We have already visited Venice and our Alaskan cruise is in less than 45 days so I have to say Okavango although Costa Rica is a close second.
The Seychelles – some of the most beautiful beaches on earth, crystal-clear water, exotic culture, and giant tortoises! (I’m hoping this offer is all-expenses-paid?)
I came here to say the Seychelles, but since it’s already taken
I’ll head to the Maldives, with accomodations in an overwater bungalow.
I heard there is a cozy little submarine that takes you all the way down to see the Titanic in person and that it is a breathtaking experience.
They also say Costa Rica is very beautiful and safe and has incredible national parks and biodiversity. Come to think of it, perhaps the latter would be better.
I wouldn’t hesitate. I’d go to Venice in Italy. I’d like to see it before I die, or before it’s underwater, whichever comes first.
