Pretty sure that is my go-to brand as well. Whatever is all cotton and has no logo!
A tad more extreme than me, but I’d say polo/henley covers a good 80% of my shirt wearing.

Yeah, I really like those. My #1 use case? I’m occasionally crew on a friend’s boat for the Wednesday afternoon racing series. I actually, after years of buying them, use them for their intended purpose!
Years ago at a science fiction convention I bought a polo shirt that had a dragon in place of the crocodile. I don’t remember if I still have it, but it may be buried somewhere in my collection of polo shirts with convention logos.
Yes, now that I think about it, it should be easy to tell. One will see you later while the other will see you in awhile.
Hell no. I’m a degenerate, but not that kind of degenerate.
And i’m a lover of polos: Ralph Lauren, Vineyard Vines, Lacoste. Just not Izod.
Unless they are a golfer over age 60, the kind of guy who wears Izod is the kind who drives a Nissan Altima with blacked out windows and missing license plates. Drives 90 mph on the highway and runs through red lights. Works at smoke/weed shop and vapes while on the job.

-The kind of girl who wears Izod is the kind who scratches and dents your car with the heel of her stiletto pumps, if you happen to piss her off.
Yes, I have.

Go Falcons!
I never made any promises.
Go on Amazon. Type in the name of the item you wanna see, on the little line at the top of the page.
Super easy.
I ain’t doing your searches for you. More than a brief look.
I did that. You wanna see them. Look yourself.
(Don’t believe I ever said Ralph Lauren. Was talking about U.S Polo assc.)
I never made any promises.
You made a claim.
Go on Amazon. Type in the name of the item you wanna see, on the little line at the top of the page.
Super easy.
Did that. Did not show what you claimed.
I priced about 2 doz of each on Amazon. $19-$39. Name brand Izod and Polo.
So you looked up about 24 links last time, and posted none to prove you were correct. Now you can’t be bothered to post a single one to show that you are correct. At this point, I’m pretty sure your claim is as authentic as that $19 Ralph Lauren Polo.
(Don’t believe I ever said Ralph Lauren. Was talking about U.S Polo assc.)
Which has nothing to do with Ralph Lauren, Izod, nor Lacoste. U.S. Polo Association makes shitty shirts that you can get in Walmart. The entire thread revolves around the actual brands that were being discussed, not shitty knockoffs that try to look like the superior brand. You actually said.
Name brand Izod and Polo.
As you say, “you do you”.
No crocodile on the tit, but it does have an ‘Ad Inexplorata’ patch.
Our polos are 100% cotton, shrink resistant and have the Edwards Air Force Base emblem on the left chest area.
Price: USD 39.99
Does “you do you” mean you’re calling someone an idiot?
I did not know that.
I’ll refrain from using it, from now on. I don’t like calling someone an idiot.
I do not believe that about you. I apologize.
I’ve never heard it used that way. It typically means do whatever it is that want as that is your nature. It can be somewhat derogatory, when the person does something you find off-putting, but they seem to enjoy it. It can also be meant in a positive manner, to tell someone that being themselves is a good thing, even if it goes against the norm.
In my case, I was simply quoting you, but meant it to be taken as “You appear to be someone who makes claims and doesn’t back them up, but that’s just the way it’s going to be, apparently”.
In the real fear that I’ll be accused of making this about me, I just reported what I saw online.
YMMV.
(I don’t really know how to post a link, I could figure it out but I feel ill tonight, so it aint happening)
I promise I did not mean to insult you.
I priced about 2 doz of each on Amazon. $19-$39. Name brand Izod and Polo.
Was curious, and so checked Amazon myself just now.
The general run of Izod men’s polo shirts on Amazon are in the $20-30 range. Scroll down enough, and two dozen links to inexpensive Izod polos will present themselves.
Now. When you wrote “Name brand … Polos”, you could have meant two things: (1) genuine article Ralph Lauren Polo shirts, or (2) name-brand little-p polo shirts - your Nauticas, Tommy Hilfigers, Lands End, and others.
So, OK, let’s see. There were a few listings for Ralph Lauren Polo shirts. The ones I found on Amazon ranged from $79-110.
Lacoste polos, FWIW, were somewhat cheaper. Plenty of selection in the $55-80 range.
And yes, there are plenty of name-brand little-p polo shirts for under $40. Many dozens of listings in this price range.
