Last night I was listening to an interview with the legendary columnist Jack Anderson and when asked about UFOs and aliens he responded that recently ancient parchments have been found that say that God created several other planets of beings that have commuication and transportation systems between them and that we on earth are in quarantine due to our propensity for violence.
He added that the parchments have not yet been accepted by any religious authorities.
Is Jack credible on this? Have ancient parchments been found that state these things, or is Jack slipping?
Did Jack provide a provenance for these parchments (or even a current owner and location)? I have never heard of any similar parchments (although the theme sounds a bit like C.S. Lewis’s Out of the Silent Planet).
Jack is slipping, and has been – at least in the “paranormal” area. (I bet KO could have guessed that’d be my response.) I first noticed it when he reported on the CIA and Pentagon’s use of “psychics.” He believed everything the believers said and ignored all the problems.
Thanks for the link. In the column you mention of 10/29 was Jack refering to the “remote viewing” project that was in operation for years, but then closed down?
I think remote viewing tests were part of the overall package. They also tested areas such as precognition and clairvoyance. Oh, and one general held spoon-bending parties.
I guess the remote viewing effort was stopped due to the accuracy rate not being high enough…agreed?
What do you attribute the remote viewing successes to? Good guesses? You might be right, but how can you be sure that things like remote viewing and psychic readings are always inaccurate?
If you concede that they are sometimes correct, then what’s the harm if someone wants to take the chance that the reading they receive might be a correct one?
