While listening to the radio yesterday, a couple of DJ’s were talking about fast food. One of them mentioneded a favorite of his from Jack In The Box, the taco cheeseburger. Buy one cheese burger, any variety, add a taco and combine the two. I bought a Big Cheeseburger ($1), 2 tacos (2 for 99 cents) and a $1 soda. I put one taco on the cheese burger and gave it a try. Not bad. Anyone have any other ideas for combine restaurant items for something a little different?
When I did my obligatory teenage fast-food stint working at McDonald’s we made apple pie a la modes. But it is not really a secret in that some stores actually sold them as ‘secret specials’. You took the bottom of a small salad container, put an apple pie in it running corner-to-corner, put vanilla soft-serve in the other 2 corners, and covered the whole thing in caramel sauce and peanuts.
Those chocolate shakes make a good dip’n sauce for those salty french fries.
