You may be SHOCKED to learn that Fox News coverage omits anything like that, and presents Fanone as a rabid lunatic going after poor, innocent Raiklin.
Raiklin called out to Fanone and introduced himself amid a packed House Judiciary Committee hearing room, prompting Fanone to turn around and say, “Go f— yourself. … Don’t pretend like we’re not mortal enemies.”
The confrontation, which occurred during a recess, escalated to a near-physical altercation, as Fanone repeatedly lobbed obscenities at Raiklin and Raiklin told Fanone to “control his Tourette syndrome.”
Here is a little bit of background, in this story from March of last year:
Fanone says he and his family have endured bomb threats, harassment and altercations with Trump supporters since he testified in July 2021 about how the mob beat and tased him – and attempted to shoot him with his own firearm – before he was able to get to safety.
“I was a police officer on January 6. I did my job. I had the courage to testify about it before Congress and as a result have had to suffer these attacks relentlessly as well as members of my family,” Fanone said.
Raiklin was presumably one of those Trump supporters threatening his family.
