TCM is showing a couple of Jack Webb films. SO pointed out that Webb wears a bracelet in -30- that appears to be the same one as he wore in The D.I.. A little searching shows that he wore this bracelet ‘most of his life’. I know ID bracelets were popular at one time. What was on the bracelet? His name? His wife’s name? Did it actually have anything on it?
Is it the gold rope seen in this picture?
Saw both those movies years back. It’s hard to seperate him from the Joe Friday character.
