I read so very many of her books in my mid to later teens, though I could never get through them as an adult. She did well for herself; despite her limited talent as a writer, she used her sister’s name and her access to celebrities, combined with a good sense of what was racy enough to sell without getting banned, and parlayed that into a very successful career as an author.
Yes, when I was young, I enjoyed some of her writing. May she rest in peace.
