Not entirely a clip show, which was good. Sometimes was hard to tell when was now and when was flashback. sp since there were large chunks and maybe even a whole season or two of the series that I missed.
The actual very end, of the entire series mind you, was done well. I approve.

I found it a bit disappointing. Not the resolution per se, but the fact they waited till about five minutes left in the show to spring it on us. I would have preferred to see Harm and Mac lock themselves in one of their apartments for about 12 hours and hash everything out, THEN come to that conclusion. And the whole business with Vucovic at Parris Island was a fucking waste of time.
Please spoil it for me - I fell asleep.
Mac and Harm get engaged, but can’t decide which one will retire, so they gather with their friends in a bar and have Bud flip a coin to decide. The screen freezes on the coin in mid-flip.
I thought they sprung the whole “lets redeploy both of you to faraway places where you’ll be in charge” thing a bit abruptly last week. (Especially since I think I knew that this was the last season of JAG but had no idea that the last episode was going to be last night.)
I still can’t decide whether I wanted Harm and Mac to end up together.
I did like the flipped coin which didn’t come down.
As soon as I saw my post I remember the other comment I wanted to make.
I read an interview with the producer or something that commented that the final episode would bring up the real reason Mac and Harm never got together.
Well, that turned out to be the fact that they couldn’t both keep their careers. Which seemed to be handled awfully swiftly and conveniently with the coin flip.
