I think it’s a shame when people lock into a self-identity with one aspect of their life and view every other thing that happens through that narrow lens. In the case of JamieMcGarry it seems to be hindering his ability to think clearly about how he interacts with the general public.

Somehow I think that if jamiemcgarry weren’t disabled he’d still be a confrontational asshole. Some people just seem to thrive on conflict and have “self-confident and assertive” mixed up with “being a whiny, selfish twat”
You see them in restaurants: “I ordered this burger with NO ONIONS and there are ONIONS on this burger! What if I had a life-threatnening allergy to ONIONS? I’d have this place closed down! Get the manager, you clueless twit!”

Anyway, I remember reading an article some years ago about some weapons-grade douchebag named Jarek Molksi, whose litigious zeal led to a US District Court telling him to STFU. He’s been barred from filing further lawsuits. He filed something like 400 suits throughout CA claiming lack of compliance with the ADA, many of which were filed about places all over California he claimed to have visited on the same day, lodging the same exact complaint. Appropriately, he was torn a new asshole. Hilarious excerpt here:

Jamie, you are Jarek Molski. You have a legitimate issue with your disability, but your complaints are largely overblown to the point of absurdity, or altogether fabricated. You don’t give a damn about saving the world for the disabled; you’re out to bully and harangue everyone and only care about yourself. You are a douche on wheels. Every time I think of you, I imagine you look something like this. Fear my leet Paint skillz!
And yes, I know mcgarry is an epic troll, and yes I’m giving into the trollery by responding, but… I’m not sure how to create an end to that sentence that negates the first part.

I agree with Mean Old Lady that he is a troll. He posts similar stuff repeatedly, fully knowing the response he is going to get. Despite 99% of people disagreeing with him, he makes no effort to look at himself honestly and admit “hey, maybe I am wrong.” If that’s not a troll, I don’t know what is.
