The Incitement referral was a bit of a surprise because it’s going to be so political. But I’m glad they did it, because it’s also a crime of which there appears to be a mountain of evidence against certain members of Congress.
Trump attorneys better stand back and stand by.
My only surprise was the tone of the referrals. No deference, no beating about the bush, no trying to tone it down. Just a stark listing of the several crimes of which Trump and his cronies almost certainly guilty.
Now to see if anything actually comes out of it.
I wasn’t able to watch. Sounds like they really went after Eastman. True?
I might have missed something, but I think he was the only other person who was explicitly named in the referrals, so yeah, they really did go after him.
Can someone read the 154 page executive summary real quick and tell me what it means and what I should take away?

Important to remember that these are ‘just’ criminal referrals made TO the Department of Justice.
Justice will have to decide whether or not to charge.
What about the executive summary to the executive summary?

So what does referred to sanction mean? Does it just mean that “Jim Jordan is a bad boy” get entered in the congressional record or are there any actual significant effects. More importantly are there any effects that aren’t going to be immediately reversed when the Republicans take over in a few weeks?
That ibid guy is going to need a good lawyer too.
