Jan Michael Vincent 74 died

I remember in the 70’s Jan-Michael Vincent was a big star. I took a date to see Baby Blue Marine and White Line Fever. Both were pretty good movies. He switched to television in the 80’s.

RIP

He died Feb 10, 2019.

But, the story is just now being reported.

He’s been out of show business for a long time.

Too bad.

Luckily there’s another dimension with, like, more than a dozen Jan-Michael Vincents.

Uh-oh, Chongo!. :frowning:

My aunt had a gigantic crush on him after she saw the movie Baby Blue Marine, so that’s what I remember him for. I vaguely remember Airwolf. It was a helicopter, right?

I’d forgotten about that kid’s series. It was like a cartoon but with real people.

Jan-Michael had a long career.

Jan-Michael had a lot of health problems. Lost a leg to infection a few years ago.

Wow, Jan did not age well.

I will always remember from Defiance and Hooper.

Redlettermedia watched a movie of his and said he had major alcohol problems. Is that true?

He was arrested for cocaine possession in 1977, 1978, and 1979. He was charged with drunk-driving in 1988 and sent to rehab. In 1996 he was charged with drunk driving again, and sentenced to rehab and probation. In 2000 he was arrested for violating his probation for appearing drunk in public and for assault, and sentenced to 60 days in jail. (He had a record of brawling and assaults.)

.

Dude lived longer than I thought he would

Gonna play the airwolf intro in honor of his memory

He’ll always be Stringfellow Hawke to me. :frowning:

I remember seeing him in a few soft core flicks on showtime and tmc in the late 90s …… he seemed very “out of it” in the scenes he did ……… and as a kid I loved airwolf…….

What happened to the other 73?
