Japanese Help: CD insert

Yay! My copy of aiko’s new CD, Himitsu 秘密 (First Press Edition), arrived in my mailbox today (I see I helped it debut at #1 on the Oricon album chart).

Tucked into the CD booklet is a little card that looks suspiciously like a ticket of some sort. I’ve taken photos of the front and back:

The card’s actual size is 102mm X 56mm.

Would one of the Dope’s Japanese residents be kind enough to tell me what this little card is? Have I deprived a Japanese fan of a free concert ticket/backstage pass?

It’s a raffle ticket. If you go to the URL it gives and enter the numbers it gives in the lower left of the “front”, you’ll be given a chance to win a ticket to a concert on the 10th of May.

You would only be depriving someone of something if you joined the raffle and won, and then didn’t go.

Thanks - I thought it might be something like that. Winning a ticket and attending her concert would be a dream come true (aiko is one hell of a performer, and she has one of the tightest bands I’ve ever heard) but, sadly, I don’t live in Japan and there’s little likelihood of my ever getting there — especially on such short notice :frowning:

Well, maybe I can hope that aiko is still performing in the distant future when I’ve become wealthy enough that I can travel the world and make a stop in Japan just to attend one of her concerts :stuck_out_tongue:

I guess, technically, I’ve at least deprived a Japanese fan of the raffle ticket itself, and therefore the chance of winning. It’s probably safe to assume these tickets were only inserted into these “First Press” editions of the CD, since the only other thing noticeably different between it and the “regular” edition is the cover photo.
