JD Vance says that Nazis are discriminated against in Germany

A Clockwork Orangina.

Or… with a different pronunciation…

A Neck Wattle Orangina.

But - but - expropriating things from White people is the ultimate sin. Absolutely nothing worse - in fact, just the mere whiff of it guarantees you refugee status in America in a way that, say, being a victim of outright genocide, climate disaster or narco death squads does not.

There’s a pretty common remedy for that, historically: find some way to shift the boundaries of whiteness to exclude him. There’s got to be some purity test he can fail, and if not, we can always brand him a Communist.

Well, he is African…

Nah, white people can rob each other as much as they want.

:scream_cat: What The Ever-loving Fuck did I just watch???

John Oliver, with his (I think) obsessively and overdone humanoid rat erotica would’ve been fapping to that.

Great.

It’s in my browser history.

It’s in my ISP’s records.

I’m ruined.

And even if they did resell the sodas, isn’t that the sort of “can do pick yourself up by your bootstraps, entrepreneurial capitalist attitude” that conservatives are supposed to admire?

I think the Trumpists would expect a cut of the profits from now on. Like kicking back to the local mob boss.

Nazis are being discriminated against? In Germany???!!!??? Hard to believe. In fact I won’t believe it until the German government mandates that all Nazis wear a Magen David patch on their clothing (I struggled to come up with an appropriate identification symbol, since the swastika is banned, so I thought that a symbol abhorrent to the Nazis might serve. Still, alternate suggestions are welcome).

Shouldn’t Nazis be discriminated against everywhere just because they’re Nazis?

This is the only non-violent answer expected by decent people. Kinda like the KKK.

With Nazis, I don’t mind violent answers. Like driving them off a bridge with your bluesmobile.

I hate MAGA Nazis.

Forget it, Jake. It’s Deutschland.

[w/apologies to Elwood]

Just want to say that strickly speaking, JD Vance is right for once. Technically, Nazis are discriminatedd against in Germany. Rightly so, and for good reason, though not enough. We will have to step it up. We need more Elwoods.

similar, Southern white racists said they were against “race-mixing” while sleeping with Black/Indian/Latin women

I think that most people don’t have a completely consistent set of beliefs. Furthermore, most people in arguing against someone else’s beliefs assume that the person that they are arguing against has a consistent set of beliefs and that these beliefs can be derived from a small set of assumptions. This makes it seem like the belief system of most people is like the system of mathematics, where you can start with a small set of assumptions and gradually build a large set of theorems, each of which are consistent with each other. The problem is that most people’s thoughts don’t work that way. They have a large, varied, and inconsistent set of beliefs and frequently add new ones to the set, not always checking the consistency of the system.

It’s worth noting that Eastern Kentucky–home of the very hillbillies he elegied about, including his grandparents’ home of Breathitt County–was utterly wrecked in a flood nine days ago. Vance hasn’t said a word about it. Too busy wrecking what’s left of our goodwill in Europe, I guess.
