On the cover of yesterday’s New York Times was a long article about how Jeb was very active as a kind of “tour guide” of Florida law and politics, making calls to key people in the precincts, briefing W’s people on what best to do next, throwing his weight around on behalf of his brother’s campaign’s hysterical jockeying for victory etc., … ALL after claiming that he had basically recused himself because of the glaring conflict of interest.
I wish I had the article in front of me, but even I was genuinely surprised at the scope and depth of Jeb’s involvement in W’s Florida victory. (Almost as surprised as I was to further read that FL taxpayers are footing the $700,000 bill for Katherine Harris’ lawyers! - Yeah, I got your 700-large right here, you evil skank.)
I’ll assume that to you unnamed W apologistas that this prominent, long, and diligently fact-checked article doesn’t “Prove it” (“it” being Jeb’s crucial role in his brother W’s confabulated victory in the state that Jeb happens to govern) because as I recall, your heroes describe NYT reporters as “big time major league assholes”. But I though I’d mention it anyway.
