I would be surprised if they allowed a billionaire client accused of sexual predation to be anywhere near other inmates without constant protective custody. As I recall, Little Nemo either works, or has worked, in the prison system (my apologies in advance if I’m mistaken). Assuming that’s accurate, he or anyone with similar experience can weigh in.

I don’t know that there’s sufficient information for the moment to really posit a guess at what the cause was. Though, it is probably true that he’s a sex addict, so he’s probably going through a form of detox at the moment.
If someone was violent towards him, obviously I don’t condone that but it is probably good news for the world.
If he hurt himself, then it shows that he’s desperate. A desperate man is much more likely to try and cut a deal.
If someone else hurt him, then he’s liable to realize that he needs to fear for his safety and is unlikely to secure that unless he cuts a deal.
If he’s also jonesing for sex, he’s probably also not thinking terribly straight right now.
We might see some fast action on this one.

Good NYT article on Epstein and Wexner. Apparently Epstein, on at least a couple of occasions, pretended to be an agent of Victoria’s Secret and used that to lure and assault women. Victoria’s Secret is one of Wexner companies. The women thought he was legit because they knew he was close to Wexner.
Who doesn’t? Back in the summer after high school my dentist hired the megahot daughter of my chemistry teacher. I was every bit as too scared to ask her out as I had been when she was a year ahead of me.

Why would someone like Wexner give so much control over his finances to Epstein, a two time college dropout?
It seems to me that the most likely explanation is that Epstein was blackmailing Wexner.

Well, there it is. Epstein got wealthy by blackmailing rich men, and he got lucky early by being smart enough to leave NYC, searching for easier marks.
Leslie Wexner is the current CEO (and founder) of L Brands and brought to the fore such brands as Victoria’s Secret, Bed Bath & Body Works, and the Limited. I don’t know how he will continue to hold this position after this article - I hope it isn’t long.

So now Russians are involving themselves in this? Who knows if that website’s allegations are true or not, but why the Russian interest? And who’s threatening her?

Perhaps I failed to make my meaning clear. My suggestion was intended merely as a tactic to ensure he remains alive long enough to have his appeal[s] fail, so that his conviction could never be vacated.
That’s the question posed in the NYT article; why did Leslie Wexner give so much control of his money, his companies, foundations, real estate and other properties to this guy who doesn’t seem all that qualified. The article mentions that Epstein bought houses and a plane from Wexner at what sound like below market prices. And it also mentions that Wexner gave money (like over twenty million) to a charity set up by Epstein.
