ok got it!
And now I hate you for getting me off Desktop Defense and onto this.
I can’t get past 36. I even asked for help in the scroll. They gave me help–I see what needs to be done, but I can’t get there. I keep ending up with either a horizontal green bar that is not long enough (or is in 2 pieces) or a vertical green bar that is not long enough…either way, I am one space away from getting the damned thing done.
and I have “got to 100” envy. This is supposed to be fun, right?
Stuck on 84. Will take a break. Damn you ultrafilter, I got work to do!
Got 36! and got (finally) 53! onwards…
It’s a good thing that it doesn’t score based on the number of moves it takes to win the level…I got to 35 and decided to go to bed. There’s always tomorrow…errr…later today, I mean!
BTW, I finished them all a couple of days ago. I wish they had more than a 100 so I could procrastinate even more.
Here’s yet another solution to #36 :
(U,L,R,D) always refer to movement in this.
Move R until the center green block hits the left blue block. (This is to keep the single blue on the right.)
Then U, L until the bottom right green clears the one-block black stop, then D, then R to form a two-piece green on the very bottom. Don’t ever go farther than you have to when forming the green block.
Then continue with a similar pattern :
D (and R as needed) until there is a single green on the right of the bottom stop. Then U one, L to clear the stop, D and R as needed to form a longer horizontal green block. Make sure the blue block stays always to the right of the stop.
Do that twice, and then continue R and D until you get one more single green to the right of the stop. On the bottom, you should have a four-piece green block to the left of the stop, a single green on the right, and then the left blue block. On top of the blue block should be a single green, with another single green floating out in space.
Move D and R until the floating green is sitting right on top of the stop. Can you guess what happens now?
Slide all the way U. When you get to the top, the single green will pop into place, and you have your brace for the blue block. Also, the right side blue pieces will have formed an L-shaped piece (facing the notch, of course).
Move one L to finish the green block, then D and L to join up the blues, and you’re done!
This solution is symmetric of course. It’s interesting that I feel compelled by gravity of the screen to make things fall ‘down’.
Oh frack!
I just finished 61. Other than eyestrain, I am fine.
Tris
I WIN.
Level 100 was actually pretty easy.
Damn 67!! It doesn’t even look possible. ARGH!
use the individual greenies to lock the big greenies in place and scoot the other around to it’s counterpart. I just finished 91 after several tries.
I keep doing that, but the long one still stays in the way no matter what I do. I thank you for the tip though. If you can be even more specific, I’ll love you foreverrrrrrrrrrr! If not, I’ll keep workin’ on it.
It’s weird - a couple of people have had trouble with 67 and I found it one of the easier ones there.
Hints leading to a solution:
Figure out how to get one single green above the three long ones while holding back the other singles (use the black stops, obviously).
If you label them 1-2-3 left to right, connect 1 to 2 at their tops (by putting a single green in between them and sliding up). Connect 2 to 3 the same way.
Then take the third single green and attach it to the side of #3, below the stops. This will hold the entire green block so you can get the blue home.
96 was the first one I looked at and said, “how do you solve that?”
Thank you panamajack. Fortunately, after probably an hour of jacking with, I finally had a “duh” moment and got after still much trial and error. Anyway, after you gurus who get all the way to a hundred, I’m off to battle (I’m sure) 68.
Any help on 86 anyone? This one is driving me insane! Whee.
I’m stuck on 46, and it doesn’t seem like it’s that hard, I just can’t make it work. Grrrr.
I think I’m on 89–and it’s driving me nuts. I don’t see how with one " black block" (bumper?)you can separate the green and pink to allow the blue square out.
I just don’t get it. Argh!
I did 100.
There were more! Damn those kids!
Tris
HEY! Come back here–tell me how to do #89!
