Jeopardy: Current champion's won 11 games in a row... and counting!

I know there are at least a few Jeopardy fans around here. Has anyone been watching recently? Some guy named Ken just won 11 games in a row. So far he’s gotten some $370,000. Before him, the record was 7 games. He’s also showing no signs of stopping, so he could break a new record every night for days, maybe even weeks to come. Reminds me of that guy who got ridiculously far (by cheating) on Press Your Luck, though I’m sure it’s very hard, if not impossible, to cheat on Jeopardy.

Wow.

He didn’t cheat.

He memorized the patterns.

You’re a week late.

I remember watching that in first run as a little kid. That was one of THE coolest moments in game show history.

Ah, yes. I actually knew that. Sorry and thank you.

Actually, I saw that thread, but I didn’t open it, nor did I make the connection between “something amazing” and what I saw. I did a search, but I figured any such thread would have “Jeopardy” in the title, so I just went for a title-only search.

It’s been a few years since i’ve watched Jeopardy, but I thought that contestants weren’t allowed to win more than five games in a row. Have the rules changed as of late?

The rule changed last September.

11 days? Pfui.

Back in the 60s, the game show “Music Bingo” had a contestant that was on for months.
