There’s no restriction against a Catholic becoming Prime Minister. A Catholic Prime Minister wouldn’t be able to participate in the selection of bishops, but there’s no restriction against a Catholic PM (and, in recent years, both the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats had Catholic party leaders who would have become PM had things been different)
