May he rest in peace. I wasn’t familiar with him, but am saddened that another original SW cast member has passed.
Damn, they’re slowly going away. Princess Leia, Artoo-Detoo, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Boba Fett.
When I was an obsessive Star Wars fan I knew the names of all the cast, but didn’t know the faces of the masked characters. So though I knew Jeremy Bulloch was Boba Fett, I had no idea what he looked like. No IMDb or Wikipedia back in those days.
I used to subscribe to ‘Star Wars Insider’ magazine, which in the 90s had an interview with Jeremy, and there I finally saw his face (and learned he also played an Imperial Officer in ESB, when the original actor missed his standby call). And that’s when I realised I already knew him from a previous role. He played a character, one of a gay couple, in the 1980s sitcom Agony which I was a big fan of.
I had only learned that relatively recently; it’s a fun appearance, as he appears as both characters in the same scene. Here’s a still of him as the officer.

I have an autographed photo of Bulloch as Boba Fett – years ago, my wife attended a science fiction convention where he was appearing, and had him autograph it for me.
Godspeed, Mr. Bulloch.
Sad news. For some reason, I had learned his name relatively early, and it stuck with me. So if I ran across him in other things, I was able to recognize him by name and think, “Hey, that’s Boba Fett!”
He also had a fairly prominent role as a medieval archer in the Jon Pertwee Doctor Who story “The Time Warrior,” if you’d like to see him doing something more heroic.
RIP
