Ummmm…while I’m not a Stoid, I am a flaming liberal and I play one on TV, but…check your history. MLK had about as much trouble keeping it in his pants as JFK, FDR, RWR, GHWB, RMN, WJC, GWB, and nearly any other major political figure I can think of with initials in the 20th Century.

I will be up front and say I never cared for Jesse Jackson. Now I care even less for him. Personally I wouldn’t vote for him for dog-catcher. But that’s me. Not only did he dare to advise Clinton while himself having an affair, he also took his pregnant other woman with him.
I know from experience the pain infidelity causes, I also know from talking to some my friends on another message board whose husbands and yes some men whose wives affairs have produced children that when the is a child from the affair the pain is even worse. When you add the fact that the whole country and possibly the world is looking at this his wife must be going though hell multiplied by a thousand.
His wife, the five children from his marriage and the child from the affair are all victims of the selfish actions of two very selfish people.
If there is something so wrong in the marriage you must play dip the wick with someone else, get out before you do it !
The sad thing is that philandering is almost acceptable in many peoples eyes these days.

That aside, I don’t buy into the “Well, HE did it, too.” defense. I find the whole matter very sad for everyone involved - especially his wife and kids (all of them).
