I was having lunch with some know-nothing conservatives (yes there are another kind) and they insisted that the Federal Government gives Jesse Jackson $19 million every year from the federal treasury. I tried searching for sites on the web to find out what the heck they were talking about and found nothing. I want sites. No wacko hate frothing sites, but facts please.

Is it possible your friends are talking about Rainbow/PUSH and the illegal campaign contributions thing that came and went real fast in the middle of the Karin Stanford/baby thing last March?

Rainbow/PUSH is a non-profit religious organization, so I don’t know why the Federal government would be giving them money.
Maybe it’s because Jesse’s a member of the Illuminati… :smiley:
