Jesus Christ -The greatist man to ever live

Brewster is stating that Jesus was the greatest man who ever lived. However, he was not and is not God.

I suppose that means that he’s a Unitarian, doesn’t it?

because Jehovah tells us to notice John 17:5 besides using language as you do is not christian like.We follow Jesus’s example of living kind, humble, loving plus when I pray I pray to Jehovah and end it with “in Jesus name amen” I “listen” to Jesus by reading what he says in the bible and I do as he tells us too.
footnote :notice the fruits of the spirit Galatians 5:22 and the fruits of the flesh Galatains5:19 thru 21 and do you see what happens to people who do the works of the flesh.May I ask which tree you eat from???

Darkhold the whole point is false christianity. When you accept Jehovah as God and realize that Jesus is his son then you look at it different from Catholics,Baptist,Church of Christ and on and on they follow Trinity teachings.Jehovah Witnesses do not engage in wars we stay neutral ,we will not use violence or kill anyone.Darkhold can you look at John 20:17 and explain it?Jesus himself tells you his God is our God.This is the difference.Unless you read the bible and pray you can’t understand.Try this pray to Jehovah and say Jehovah, to show you if these things I’m telling you are true then end the prayer in Jesus name. Now you musy mean it from the heart.Try it then notice the things happening around you and if you are sincere in your prayer then your" eyes" will be opened…

Rather personal question, don’t you think? To try to put it delicately, I eat bushes not trees, but I strongly support the right of trees to eat trees, and bushes to eat bushes. I don’t quite know where philodendrums fit in to the great cosmogony, but I am open minded.

Brewster,

So far you haven’t even convinced yourself.

This is a tough room, let me tell you. And dueling verses is gonna bite you in the ass big time, with this crowd. Even the Atheists know the bible better than you do.

Read more, talk less, and find the the part that deals with humbly devoting yourself to the love of each soul you meet. After twenty years or so of that, you might have enough wisdom to shake up a cynic or two.

It could happen!

<shrieks in indignation, starts to pelt brewster2 with roc–whoops, sorry>

Sorry, dude, but your grammar is really making it hard for most of us to understand what you’re saying. On this board, spelling and proper spacing between sentences is quite helpful in getting your posts taken seriously. Hit the PREVIEW POST buttons under the writing screen to see how your post will look to everybody.

I’m a Catholic and therefore a Trinitarian, I guess. My faith is a part of my life that makes me think and brings me joy, as well as linking me to a great tradition of art and a worldwide community. I don’t really know what more I could add to my life by reading a few passages from the Bible again.

But your Watchtower building is Brooklyn is nice to look at, shining on the skyline like that…

<wonders how many instances of Gaudere’s Law have crept into her post, hits SEND>

wot the hell

heh

i know what you
mean but i am a lady muffin always

I think the guy is trying to tell us something, but he needs to work on the presentation a bit.

Look, brewster2, all you have done so far is to set out that JC is toppers because the bible says so, and the bible is to believed because it is JC’s book.

That is entirely circular. Continuing on that vein is a complete and utter waste of time.

Quite frankly, what it comes down to is personal belief. You believe in god. I do not. You have a particular religion, and a particular sect within that religion. I do not. For you to persuade me to your cause, you will have to do more than cite passages from a text which I have studied at length.

If you want to do some good, set an example in how you conduct yourself, rather than preach your circular argument. If you preach gibberish, as you have been doing, I will not be able to take you seriously. If, however, you speak rationally, then I will take you seriously. The choice is yours.

Please prove to me that you are not a false proselytizer.

Why should I believe you, rather than any number of other preachers of the great many other sects and religions?

If only Grace granted the ability to punctuate properly and write comprehensible sentences . . . God really ought to work on His believers’ writing skills if he’s hoping to sway us.

No matter, where I put, the comma’s, people understand me.
It’s, the; miracle of: Punctuating in tongues!

I know what he meant, it’s that it’s not quite what the words said. Just poking some fun.

Witnessing Unitarians? Hoo boy.

Personally, I’m into Granny Smith apples. I also like pineapples. I don’t really care what the Bible has to say about my potty mouth either.

I’m having trouble following you - could you please answer the following with a yes or no. If you wish to state your argument, please do so, but start with the yes or no.

  • Are you proposing that God and Jesus are separate entities?
  • If yes, do you propose that Jesus is divine?
  • If yes, are you aware that such a mindset would NOT be monotheistic?
  • If yes, do you have a problem with this?

I know it’s hard to understand what he’s saying, but I did see “Jehovah’s Witness” amidst the commas and misspelled words. If he is indeed a Jehovah’s Witness (and it sounds like it) then they don’t hold Jesus to be divine. There’s one single God, and Jesus was just a pretty cool dude.

Hope you get your spacebar fixed.

Yes, Jesus was swell!

Eh, the Bible?

Read it. Wasn’t impressed.

Clearly, Jehovah never got around to sending Jesus to cheer camp.

It’s a cookbook! IT’S A COOKBOOK!

No, I didn’t watch the TZ marathon, honest.
