Not exactly a memorable game but it was fun to see it go down to the wire with a field goal by the Giants to tie it up with less than a minute to play. About 13 minutes currently on the clock with the Jets lining up for a FG attempt.

Thankfully, NFL network keeps interrupting the Cardinals and Chargers to make sure we know everything about the Jets QB situation and every word that Rex Ryan has to say.
Which ended up making no sense whatsoever.
You really got the feeling everybody was phoning it in today - which of course you would expect, but still.
edit: OK, to be fair, not everybody.
Well, dale will probably be happy next year, since the Jets’ quarterback situation is awful. Mark Sanchez looked bad, and Geno Smith (who the Jets’ front office obviously HOPED would earn the starting job) was worse.
It looks like a terrible year is coming for the Jets, probably Rex Ryan’s last as head coach. So, next year, the Jets will be just another bad, rebuilding team, and they’ll get no media attention at all.
The Jets are *never]/b] a bad, rebuilding team. They’re a mediocre, with a long term commitment to further mediocrity.
When they become a good team, the fire the coach and go back to being mediocre.
Speaking of which… people always talk about how tough the New York media are, and yet here we are, 30 years alter, and STILL nobody has ever explained why Walt Michaels got fired and the hapless Joe Walton got hired, just when the Jets looked like a possible championship contender.*
The New York media are basically just stenographers.
*Rumors abounded that Michaels was a raging drunk, and that may well have been true… but why didn’t the allegedly tough NY media make hay of that?
