Jewish influence over the president candidates (Trump and Clinton)

Wait a moment. I thought 'twas us Mormons who were lizards masquerading as humans.

I ran across this site today. See how devious you guys and we are?

Clearly, you, along with basically the rest of humanity, have a different definition than the OP does of know.

Yes, doing the bidding of your Jew masters. It’s pretty obvious, given the Saints’ obsession with Zion. You let the Jew control your banking, naturally…but also your national parks! And even your motorcycles!

You complained on reddit about your iPhone?

It’s said that Jews tend to be argumentative. Of course, many Jews would vehemently disagree with that characterization.

Sorry - you Mormons are evil, but way behind in the shape-shifting lizard sweepstakes (Mitt Romney as a lizard? C’mon…).

I would definitely be worried about Hillary and her Reptilian backers. Even when artfully disguised, there’s no mistaking the lizard heritage.

And when the mask slips…

Mormons are the lost tribe…of Jews!!

… and off we go. Version #3621

Not really; the US used massive aid to both Israel and Egypt as a bargaining chip in the Camp David Accords. It was a bribe for peace (and moving Egypt away from the Soviet sphere of influence), and it’s worked incredibly well.

I guess some people don’t or won’t get it, but the “Jewish influence” thing in American politics is simply stupid. There’s no other word for it; it’s flatly, incontestably stupid. It is, consequently, difficult to take seriously.

Bear in mind that we are talking about a Western democracy in which the influence of seriously hard core Christianity is incredibly high, vastly more so than in any other advanced nation. It is quite literally the case that fundamentalist Christianity is so influential in the USA that Republican candidates for President are essentially not allowed to admit they believe in rudimentary scientific facts, and candidates who are obviously not practicing Christians have to pretend they are. Even Donald Trump, legitimately a political outsider and maverick politician, had to go through the motions of saying the Bible was his favourite book, even though it obviously is not, to appease millions of zealous evangelicals.

It may be that you do not notice this because you simply take it for granted. Sometimes things are so big we don’t see them.

To look at a nation in the thrall and control of evangelical Christianity and then propose it is unduly influenced by a tiny little religion that has rarely influenced much of anything is simply preposterous and unworthy of debate. It’s as if a man was brought into a hospital after being set on fire, with third degree burns to 75% of his body, and the doctor looks at him and doesn’t see the charred flesh and insists the man needs a better haircut.

Here’s the article.

Well said. I think OP should quit beating around the bush and just start a single thread with a straightforward title like “The problem of the Jew, and what to do about it”. Though preferably somewhere else. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s really not new at all.

Boo hoo. You’d rather talk about how awful Jews are, go start your own idiotic thread.

Are you saying that, based on the originator’s previous threads, it’s not reasonable to assume that he bears negative feelings towards Jews?

But what sort of solution do you expect he’ll come up with?

I think what the Op tried to say was that, those candidates might not serve America’s best interest but serve Israel’s interest instead even if that somehow harms (or does not maximize, or makes no difference but wastes time & attention, etc) America’s interest in any degree. It makes no sense for America to not serve its own interest. As for right & wrong, that’s not on the same plane as interest. When I say America serving its own interest, that’s when it’s not wrongful. I am clearly not talking about America stealing money from a foreign country with a military force.

The problem is that this line of thinking assumes that 1) Jewish people all have the same opinion on Israel, and would all sell out the US to help Israel; and 2) Jewish people are so crafty and sneaky that they, by virtue of being the President’s son-in-law, can dictate US foreign policy. Both of these are based on old, gross, anti-Semitic canards. It’s just hatred of Jews gussied up with a veneer of concern about Israel.

And you don’t see why that’s offensive? That anyone with connections to Jews is automatically suspected of dual loyalty?

ETA: ninja’d.
EETA: I should not be so dismissive. I made the same mistake myself once, and was corrected on these very boards.

That’s why I’d never vote for a Catholic. They’d just be taking marching orders from the Pope!

And I learned two years ago that jobs were being offshored to China because Mitch McConnell married a woman who moved to the US from Taiwan when she was 8.
